In our lifetime, many people wear socks or socks. Sometimes, we may want to know how the socks are made.
Generally speaking, the socks making process can be summarized into 8 main steps. Now, let us learn how to produce socks in a socks factory.
Phase 1: Knitting
Once the raw materials of the socks are purchased, washed, and then spun into yarn, the yarn is made into large reels before dyeing. There are countless needles coming together to knit multiple threads until it forms many interlocking loops.
The formed ring is then used to make socks. In order to make it comfortable and easy to adapt, different sewing machines and needles with different diameters are used for the size and parts of each piece of clothing.
As we all know, computerized knitting machines are extremely fast and can knit countless socks at the same time.
Phase 2: Sewing
Then the various parts are combined together, similar to the finished pipe. A big benefit is that once the clothes are finished, they will have a lot of seams, ensuring more comfort for the wearer. It also has the advantage of eliminating overruns caused by large joints.
Once the inspection is complete, the pieces are then moved from the inside to the outside, and the seaming and linking process is completed. According to the socks, automatic linking, seamless linking and hand licking are completed.
Phase 3: Washing and drying
Then wash the socks and then dry them to ensure they shrink and stabilize. For washing, only water is used here, and detergents are avoided.
Stage 4: Logo embroidery
After washing and drying, the company's logo and brand mark can be easily sewn onto the socks with an automatic embroidery machine and computer software. The customization of the sock pattern or design is done here.
Stage 5: Boarding
The shape of the sock takes place at this stage, because steam and heat are used to form the sock, and the metal foot extension frame is used. When all of these are used, a smooth appearance and proper shape need to appear.
Phase 6: Quality Inspection
In professional socks factories, inspections are usually carried out at all stages of socks production and after boarding the plane, so that only high-quality socks are packed. This process filters out contaminated socks.
Stage 7: Pack the socks
Once the quality inspection is completed, the packaging will be carried out according to the customer's specifications. The purpose of packing socks is to create perfection, because every aspect of it is checked. The packaging determines whether it will attract the attention of customers and prospects. Many people would say that the packaging of the product is as important as the product.
You will have to consider hooks, header cards, cartons, poly bags, etc.
Phase 8: Transportation and storage
After packaging, the next step for the socks manufacturer is to ship the socks to the warehouse, where the socks will be stored until they can be shipped to customers and potential customers.
